If you’re serious about getting the results that you’re looking for, we encourage you to follow our guide in preparing for your visit.
Our family of professionals want your experience with us to go flawlessly (probably even more than you do) so we spent a little time to make a “pre-game” list.
Be sure to provide us inpiration pictures when you come in. Without a visual of what you want, you’ll leave our staff making educated guesses and we can’t guarantee your satisfaction if we don’t have anything to base it on.
Come In Clean (And Dry)!
As mentioned above, coming in with dirty (and wet) hair won’t allow the color to fully hold, which may cause undesired results. Help us Help you!
The two products we offer and recommend to help deeply clean your hair is Redken’s Hair Cleansing Cream and Extreme Cat Treatment. Come take advantage of our sale (making us cheaper than Ulta and Amazon) and we will gladly educate you on how to use it.
We also offer a Pre-Treatment (not bookable online yet) but can only perform if time permits.
Time Matters!
We highly recommend that you come in when you aren’t pressed for time. This can cause our hairstylists to rush and sometimes come up short. We give every guest our complete undivided attention when sitting in our chairs and will do the same when it’s your turn. Please book your appointment when you have time to relax so you can enjoy your visit with us.
Clients who arrive 15 minutes past their appointment time may not receive any complimentary services (blowout, wash, etc). Arriving 30 minutes or later forfeits your services altogether. No refunds and card on file will be charged for all scheduled services in full.
Home Care Recommendations
During your visit with us, your stylist will educate you on the various products that they will be using to make your hair dreams a reality.
One of the requirements for us to guarantee our work is purchasing your home care products at Serenity. When you color your hair, you’re stripping away moisture, keratin, and proteins. Using cheap or untested products can further the damage done to your hair while also washing out the color you just added. The right products will help repair the damage and help keep that color and feel that you were after for much longer.
In almost every case, our Redken products are cheaper than Ulta and Amazon. Please don’t use us for information and then go to the big retailers to purchase your product. We run promotions all the time to help you save. Please help support local and small business and consider purchasing your products through us. Our staff will be more than happy to educate you on home care recommendations to enhance your experience.
When in doubt, Serenity Salon & Co. recommends that you book a consultation. This allows your hair stylist to see your hair ahead of time to ensure your vision can be accomplished. You’ll also get the most accurate quote when it comes to total price and time as well as home maintenance recommendations. Sometimes when clients book a service, they book something different than the inspiration pictures that they bring in. A consultation will help bridge the gap.
